Software Features and Description

1. Once connected, you can go to the BlackVue app’s BlackVue Wi-Fi menu to access all the videos stored on your dashcam’s microSD card, check Live View to adjust your camera’s angle if needed, and modify your BlackVue’s settings.

2. If you are already connected to your BlackVue, make sure to connect to an Internet-enabled Wi-Fi network to download the latest firmware from the app: the Firmware Download option is accessible from the sliding menu (swipe left to right in the Main Menu of the app).

3. To do so, connect first to your BlackVue from your phone’s Wi-Fi Network menu.

4. BlackVue Cloud is a BlackVue-exclusive service (with subscription plans available) that lets you access your BlackVue from anywhere, anytime, from the BlackVue app (or the BlackVue Viewer).

5. Four modes: BLACKVUE CLOUD, BLACKVUE WI-FI, INTERNAL MEMORY and BLACKVUE BATTERY.

6. The BlackVue app supports all the BlackVue dashcam models with Wi-Fi compatibility.

7. ▶ Unlimited Remote Video Playback – Play videos stored in the Cloud or in your dashcam anytime from your phone or tablet.

8. Creating your BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free.

9. Available features depend on the BlackVue model you use.

10. Once you have downloaded videos from your dashcam to your phone, they will appear in this menu.

Download and install the BlackVue app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using BlackVue on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "BlackVue"
The search will reveal the BlackVue app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once BlackVue is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including BlackVue.
Now enjoy BlackVue on PC.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing BlackVue:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "BlackVue" » Click "Install" to install BlackVue

Working Good Agsin

The new version remove the obnoxious advertisements and seems to be working much better again now, and is much more useful without those ads in it. Glad the developer realized that those ads were too obnoxious and not a good thing to do to their customers. As long as they keep the advertisements out of it I recommend the camera, I have the 900S two camera system in my hotshot truck and love it. If they would lower their monthly cloud service fees to a more reasonable rate such as $.99 or $1.99 I would subscribe to it, but $9.99 is just too much to pay when I have cloud services on several other devices and none of them are more than $1.99 a month. I think if they would lower the price of their monthly cloud service to $1.99 a month they would actually find it they would get so many more subscribers that it would actually make up for the lowering in price. My dad wants told me always remember story of the two used car salesman who buy their used cars for the exact same price but one prices his used cars at $1000 each but only sells 3 a week because of his high prices, the other prices his cars at $500 each but sells 20 of them a week because his prices are more fair. At the end of the year which one actually had the most profit and will have much happier customers meaning they’re much more likely to return in the future. Less greed often equals higher profits and more return customers.

So this app is not perfect. But I definitely think it deserves much more than 2.1 stars (at the time of writing). It’s good in general. I really don’t see any real issues with it. The WiFi issue mentioned in the other reviews is definitely the most inconvenient feature of the app I guess if I was to say. But this may be more of a side effect of the camera’s design itself as opposed to the app. I have resorted to turning WiFi off when I enter my car. But it doesn’t bug me as much anymore since it’s a quick swipe up on the iPhone and I don’t think about it. The app really never crashes on me, and at the time of writing they release plenty of updates regularly claiming to fix any bugs...App allows me to change any option I would care for on the camera. Recording length is dependent on your SD card and I currently have mine set to 3 min which I think is ideal. Also I like how the app has the library of videos downloaded from the camera in a separate section, allowing me to quickly access any vids I have saved on my phone. But yeah really like the camera (750s-2ch) it has recorded some interesting sights, and I think the app works well to manage it.

There are some hick-ups with the app but for the most part it does everything I need it to do. I can download the videos from my dash cam via WiFi, I can see my location on those videos of where I was driving along with speed. I think the app only needs a little walk through process or tutorial option. There were somethings I didn’t understand till I looked it up in the instructions. Other than that the app does what I need it for. Plus this is the only dash cam company that still updates the firmware constantly to improve their product and they keep their app up to date. Some release an app and that’s it. They’re still improving it. Last update was 2 weeks ago. I’m happy with the product, just READ the instructions or call customer service and they’ll be happy to help.
Worst App Ever

With this app, I really don’t know from where I should start! I decide to write this review when they released the version 2.78. Although I’m connected through wifi, it’s keep opening the settings of the app, from the Settings app of iOS. I restarted my phone, I restarted my camera, I restarted the car, the seat, the radio and the wife of the neighbor...but nothing. It’s keep guiding me to the settings of the this app app, which you can find inside the iOS settings. Two days later, they released the version 2.79 and the version log is exactly the same with the 2.78. First thing it crossed my mind was that they corrected the connectivity issue. But no...I guess the only chance was on the last digit, from the version number: v.2.78 —> v.2.79 Also the icon for the this app Camera is SO helpful. It’s opening another app!!! I guess the version 3.0, the only change will be an extra icon to open the door from the house of the neighbor so we can go an restart his wife!!!
