When I first purchased my the app I didn’t even know it connected to an app so the fact that it does is pretty neat, but the reason I figured out it does is because I was looking for a way to create custom blend programs for the blender and stumbled across the app online. I was excited because I thought surely there’s a way to create custom blend programs in the app if nothing else but I was mistaken. It actually comes strikingly close at one point in the create your own recipe section but it only lets you create single speed programs, there’s no way to do multiple speed programs like the ones that come with your mixer. I don’t understand why out of all the functionality the app and blender provide that there’s no way to make a custom multi speed blend programs. the app developers, please add a section to create custom timed multi speed blend programs! Or at least some way to edit the current settings or something. It would be very useful for my morning smoothies because the programs that are provided don’t work for my smoothies.

Love the the app, love the scale, but whoever wrote the software missed big chunks of functionality to make this app useful. First the app has limited recipes, add more when I first logged in did nothing. The search function doesn’t work. Put in ice cream nothing comes up, select from the arrow down for dinner , ice cream comes up, breakfast ice cream comes up. Horrible search.i was told at demo, search for recipes on internet and Add them. Nope, you have to manually input a recipe. Who does that these days? Missing functionality. The shopping cart is a joke!!! No organization, I can’t use it at the store, so now I have to write down my shopping list. I haven’t even tried hand entering a recipe. I’m sure that’s complex. I tried to remove tofu as an ingredient, it did but offered no suggestions for replacement. I’m a cook we all know if you remove something the recipe doesn’t work. I’m sooo disappointed, thinking this product is all hype and I should return scale and the app. Researching Blendtec,

My wife and I started eating healthier about a year ago but our breakfasts were still routine. We decided that breakfast smoothies would juice things up and this app + scale did just that. Have had it for about a month and it is amazing. Ever try to measure a tablespoon of honey? With this you don’t bother measuring... just pour the honey into the blender until you hear the beep that indicates the correct amount. Same with grapes, spinach leaves, apple slices, ice cubes, lemon juice, etc. and the recipes are really delicious. I’m not a good cook but I can follow a recipe and these are good-proof. Works with any blender (I use a Ninja). Recipes can be scaled for fewer servings. They can be modified or you can create new recipes. Be sure to explore the app thoroughly... it’s quite complete. Support is excellent. Highly recommended!

We just joined the the app family yesterday and were super excited to get home and try out our new blender and scale. I looked through the book and found a recipe to make and then went to the app to find it. However, I was disappointed to find that there was a different recipe for the same thing on the app. I was then faced with the decision to make about which one would be better. I think if there were recipe reviews on the app for people who have made the recipe, that would be a huge addition that would be helpful to a lot of people. Additionally, if there is a recipe in the the app book, I would expect that it would also be on the app. I tend to read recipe reviews when picking new recipes and feel this would be beneficial to a lot of people!
