What is MEDITECH MHealth?

MHealth is a mobile app that provides secure and convenient access to your health information on your mobile device or tablet. It is the mobile version of MEDITECH’s Patient and Consumer Health Portal. With MHealth, you can communicate with your care team, request appointments, review laboratory results and radiology reports, track immunizations, allergies, and conditions, manage home medications, and reference visit history information and forms.

2. If you already have a Patient Portal account through your healthcare provider, and your provider has enabled access through MHealth, you are ready to begin.

3. If you do not already have a Portal account with a MEDITECH affiliate, visit your healthcare provider’s web page to learn how to get started.

4. Use your existing Patient Portal logon ID and password to get started with MHealth.

5. MHealth offers a wide range of results and features that allow you to better manage your and your family’s care.

This app has been super helpful to get in contact with my care team for concerns with my child and myself. ***The only feature I would want to add is the option for notifications! If I could receive a notification when a new message came in it doesn’t have to be detailed just a simple notification on screen saying “New Portal Message” or “New Appointment.”***
A big step forward

This app is a very big step forward! Given the lack of ability for EHRs to share data this will help all patients see their medical record and share it with their doctors.

The app will not even BEGIN to work for me after I select which portal I want to access. I get an immediate error alert saying “an error has occurred- please try again.” That was a month ago and I deleted it. Tried it again just now, and it’s just as useless.
Doesn’t work!

I’ve had to delete and then reinstall this app 3 times now. It will work briefly and then the next time I open it I get a blank screen.
