Unable to display Temp

Hi there,
I was passing thru Manhattan Beach, CA and there was NO temp reading displayed.
I tried Deg F nothing, tried Deg C and the app was blank.
I am on an iPhone 6s Plus, running iOS 12.1.4.
Any suggestions? If I could get it to work I could rate it higher.
