Fun game ruined by ads during gameplay

The game is a standard aim and shoot brick breaker with better than average graphics and hit detections. Of all of the times to run ads the very worst time is during game play and after a successful shot. Playing a game and doing well should never feel like getting punished. I can grow to accept ads running at the beginning or end of a game or in order to be able to gain something like a continue, but it will always be entirely unacceptable for ads to unnecessarily disrupt gameplay. The decision to do such a thing is surely costing the dev way more players than the forced ads are getting seen.

Frustrating

I really enjoy this game, so I didn’t mind paying the 1.99 to remove ads. I do mind, however, paying 1.99 to remove ads and then still having to watch ads to activate power ups. The game just says “remove ads,” not “remove some ads”. If you pay for the game you shouldn’t have to watch ads at all. Also, in my opinion, there should be some way to permanently buy power ups with a currency you earn in game.

Ads killed the fun

I understand that games have to make money somehow, even the “free” ones. So I accept a certain amount of in-game advertising. This game is just unreasonably frustrating from all the ads, which interrupt the game about every 30 seconds or so. I actually really enjoyed the game play, and might have even paid to remove ads, but trying to get through just one game to try it made me so angry that I never want to play it again. This isn’t a game with ads, it’s an ad server with a game grafted on.

When will developers learn

I’m so tired of game developers choking the life out of a fun game with so many ads you can’t even enjoy it. I get it you made it to make money. You should be compensated for your time and effort. I agree you deserve something but COME ON. I mean an ad every two to three shots of the the app on every level that you have to exit out of twice...really what’s the point if no one is going to see them because it’s uninstalled immediately after a couple plays.
