Select Windows version:
- Windows 7-10
- Windows 11
Download and install the VatScope app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using VatScope on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "VatScope"
- The search will reveal the VatScope app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once VatScope is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including VatScope.
- Now enjoy VatScope on PC.
- Using VatScope on Mac OS:
Install VatScope on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.

To get VatScope on Windows 11, check if there's a native VatScope Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing VatScope:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "VatScope" » Click "Install" to install VatScope
- VatScope will now be available on your windows start-menu.

this app is really awesome. Used it for a long while now and I definitely think it's the best VATSIM scope app around for mobile.
From my usage, I have a few suggestions for potential improvement. This is just my opinion, of course.
1) When you select an airport and want to, for example, select the "ATC" tab, it takes two motions: swipe up to expand the popup and then tap "ATC." I think this could be simplified to one tap by automatically expanding the airport popup whenever ARR, DEP, or ATC is selected.
2) I think it would be cool to have some graphical icons representing what positions are staffed at a given airport. Like, a simple letter D for DEL, G for GND, T for TWR, and so on. Maybe this could appear next to the airport "pin" icon on the map or next to the title or something on the popup window. I could see this maybe causing a cluttered look, but just a thought.
3) This is not really a minor thing and I don't know if it'd go against the intended visual style of the app, but I think it'd be nice to have a few variations of airplane icons for different types of aircraft. Right now everything has a generic airliner shape - perhaps there could be a generic Cessna-type icon, a helicopter icon, a fighter jet icon, and an airliner icon or something along those lines. Sort of like how Flightradar24 does it.
Thanks for writing this app. I don't take offense if none of these suggestions come to fruition, but I just wanted to offer my opinion!

This app is amazing for being a pilot on VATSIM. I have it on both my iPad and iPhone. However just recently, it isn’t working on my iPhone 8 Plus. App opens then closes before data is even pulled from the server. App has been deleted and reinstalled. No issues on the iPad.

It works much after last update. However live ATC areas are hard to see. It almost the same colors as waters, very confusing. I wish it would be customizable. Please consider it.
