What is Dragon Champions? Dragon Champions is a free fantasy-themed turn-based RPG on mobile that offers an engaging storyline, tactical battles, PvP, PvE, and more. The game takes place in the world of Korador, where players recruit warriors and lead an action squad of fantastic heroes to battle against demon warriors and the mysterious Reflections. The game features more than 70 warrior characters from nine playable races and different rarity levels, and players can join army guilds and participate in raids to encounter the most powerful beasts of Korador and defeat the elder dragons.

A solid gacha game without the big name

Been playing this game about a week now, so far I am sticking with it which says a lot since I tend to drop off most gachas. Graphics: 5/5 - Really like the graphics this game has they aren’t the most spectacular you will see in an iOS game but they are very appealing to me. Gameplay: 4/5 - Gameplay is your basic gacha with Arena, Campaign, Challenges, Events, Guilds and more. I hit a bit of a wall on the Hero Campaign at stage 4-2 out of 8. So time to grind and level up and gear up, all that jazz. Can’t say much for Arena or Guilds as I haven’t unlocked Arena yet and not joined a guild yet. For events, some are timed, and others are catered only to yourself. I’ve mostly just seen it as simple as ‘spend energy in Campaign to earn rewards’. Challenges will earn you extra Gear Materials, Gold, and XP Tomes. Shop Deals: 4/5 - I have so far seen two character offers in the shop. Both of which can be unlocked by just playing the game and grinding it out. But the deals were nice, only $1.99 each and you get plenty of gold, xp tomes and more. All in all I can’t say for sure if this game is pay to win or not yet. But it doesn’t feel like it. My only gripe are some of the characters names are REAY generic. Like Buff, Freezard,Puncherface, Robin Bad etc. Otherwise it’s a fun gacha without the big names attached to it like some others in the App Store.

This game is heavily p2w they hide that fact by making loads of packs that only cost a few dollars and when I say loads I mean TONS!! Besides that fact that game is very unbalanced certain heroes like lula and solius are so overpowered I can’t think of a time I could beat them and I have spent over $400 on this game, They recently had an event where you could win solius if you had your orc team leveled up and I mean fully leveled if you want him I couldn’t even get past the 4th stage because they force you to use an orc team and I didn’t have the skill shards to do anything with them which was demoralizing to me. I’ll keep playing but will not spend another dime on this. If your new just invest in orcs nothing else. The entire game revolves around them no need to invest into anything else unless your heavily pay to win like 1k plus Trust me just invest in Orcs and only buy packs when you summon a new toon and put what you have into orcs if you want to win.
Lots of great polished mechanics and playful characters

This game incorporates lots of mechanics and homages from other games. It’s buttery smooth and very approachable. I’m enjoying it, but it’s not without its faults. Since it’s early on, it’s pretty buggy. I can’t load levels and need to force the app to reload. I would like to see some kind of ‘benefit’ for those of us who are playing it in this state, such as every time it crashes we get compensated, etc. It’s the only thing keeping me from buying the starter packs to be honest. Great fun game, recommend it to fans of fantasy/mmo/collector games!
Fun and not greedy

Very well thought out game. It’s Swgoh and msf without the paywall. The Devs did a good job of taking what was good in both games and leaving out the bad. Mods aren’t bad because the speed bump is not huge. Awesome characters and fun global chat. Couple of things could be tweaked. I wish that gameplay did not stop when you click on the chat bar. Also 3x speed of auto battle is just a little slow, the characters seem to pause too long.
