Worth A Shot!!

Don’t usually review. Don’t usually see much utility with most apps I download. This one though, I had been playing with for about a month. Just perusing the different aspects of it. Saving names and checking origins and dbl checking them with other resources. Then.... I ran outta time. A short months time later, My son was born, Healthy, Beautiful & in desperate need of a name. So with it being down to the wire and we being in the process of getting ready to leave the hospital. I pulled out this app. In less than 10 minutes and the added weight of time and money bearing on us. Me & my wife decided a name as painlessly as pulling off a wet Bandaid. Go figure. I know full well that this review is not gonna help a lot of people. Though if you enjoyed this review. That’s all that matters. ~God Speed Benji Boya~ Love Dad~

This is one of the best baby name apps out there. I use this app and one other - Nametrix - regularly for my writing. It has everything you need. Popularity by year, a search feature, and even a section for suggestions on naming twins (that’s one of reasons I use this - I have several Multiples in my writing). I also love that you get all of this for free. Yeah, sure, there’s ads here and there but really, seeing as the app has so much stuff AND is free, you could definitely deal with them. A couple of things to make this app even, and they are: For the Baby Names Suggestion feature, put both girl and boy names...for example, the name Abigail is a female name and has only girl name suggestions with it. Putting both girl AND boy names for every name would be perfect. Also, add more names to the twins section! I like the names that are there, but several are too matchy, like Olivia & Oliver, or Isaiah & Isaac...add names that are less popular (those from 2004 or 2001 for example) or just add more names all together and that would be great! All in all, I still give this app 5 stars because it really does have everything that I need. I suggest getting this app if you are in need of baby name suggestions!
Favorite name app!

I recommend this app to everyone whenever I hear them taking about names. I am an author and I love the different categories that this app provides as well as being able to search by letter, origin, or meaning because sometimes a character just *feels* like a T name. I was a little disappointed when they added advertisements, but they are not too annoying and I definitely understand. I love being able to favorite an unlimited amount of names and look back on them. Perfection!!

The only star it's missing is when you add a name, you can't add the origin and other details. Other than that I'd love to be able to have a few different middle names (certain first names go better with a different middle name). Besides those two items this is my favorite baby name app, and I've had quite a few! Love the origin organization, and pronunciation guide!
