Download and install the KitchenPad® Timer app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using KitchenPad on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "KitchenPad"
The search will reveal the KitchenPad® Timer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once KitchenPad is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including KitchenPad.
Now enjoy KitchenPad on PC.

Using KitchenPad on Mac OS:

To get KitchenPad on Windows 11, check if there's a native KitchenPad Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing KitchenPad:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "KitchenPad" » Click "Install" to install KitchenPad® Timer
- KitchenPad® Timer will now be available on your windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Great concept for timing tasks such as cooking and laundry

- Gets better with each update

- Highly recommended by the user

- Useful for Thanksgiving meal preparation

☹ Cons:

- Phone must be on ring for sound to go off, unlike the built-in iOS timer

- Alarm does not repeat, making it difficult to hear and easy to miss

- User finds it annoying that their phone must be on ring for the app to work

- User would pay more if these issues could be fixed

- Unclear if the app still allows for certain features that the user used to be able to access.

2 huge flaws

First off, it’s a great concept but it has two giant flaws. Unlike the built in iOS timer, your phone must be on ring to have sound go off. I find this very annoying as my phone is always on vibrate except for alarms and timers. Also, the alarm does not repeat. I can barely hear the timer go off when it’s in my pocket, and when it does, it makes noise for about 10 seconds and is done. I’d pay $2 more if these two issues could get fixed. If not, I wish I could get my money back. Whomp. Whomp.

I’ve had the iPad version since it was first released. I can’t imagine ever again making the thanksgiving meal without it! And it gets better with each update. Have recommended it many times.
