Amazing feature set and better value than competing calculators.

This creator is amazing. They support their app for the long run. I had bought math studio after buying space time (which was the previous name of space time, and I had just purchased a new iPad and found that PocketCAS still works. Mathstudio, on the other hand, when are their way to release a newer Version of the application so that you could no longer download the older and more capable version forcing you to pay again. If I bought MathStudio again, I would’ve had to spend $60 so far. The creator(s) of PocketCAS on the other hand are still supporting the version I bought in between the purchases of SpaceTime and MathStudio. So, not only is PocketCAS just as good as (if not better than) competing calculators when it comes to the feature set, but they simply also provide a substantially better value. If you’re deciding between the two, get this one.

I have used mathematical modeling throughout my career to forecast manufacturing throughput. This application is so much more versatile to the developing of models than a spreadsheet, because it allows you to compare different components of the model in the same graph and make hypothetical changes by simply using math. The iPad version takes this application to a new level. I can now carry a mathematical laboratory with me to the field to make changes or adjustments which will synchronize with the cloud so that I can continue my work in my Mac.

Delivers what it promises. I'm reviewing calculus and it has proven to be a great help; I wish I had it when in college! It might not be as powerful as some of the math programs for the Mac or PC (I have wxMaxima on my Mac), but it's ease of use and portability (iPhone) makes it a good choice. It also helps that it is document oriented; you work, say, the exercises of a chapter you are studying and when done just save it under a meaningful name.

Easy to use, has everything I have wanted lately. I use statistic distributions, calculus and triginometry, many things as I tutor math up to cal 3 and differential equations. Partial fractions gave correct results. It was convenient to pop in a derivative to check my memory of identities. I also like how you can keep separate pages with editable history. It was worth the ten bucks to me.
