Unacceptable advertising

I rarely spend my time to write reviews, unless there's a really good reason to do it, and this app has a very good reason to deserve a very bad review: it crosses the line of what should be considered acceptable advertising. I tolerate well small ads in ad supported apps, but this one makes you view a 20 seconds video when you just need to take a 2 second measurement??? No way, this is totally unacceptable. Previous version didn't do this stupidity, so I promptly deleted it and found another ruler app that doesn't do this crap. I hope this well deserved review increases the number of reviews here so it shows the bad rating up front in order to inform users so they don't waste their time installing this crapware, not to say malware.

Works ok, but don't need a date

This app seems to work fine, except for the ad in the middle of the screen asking if I want a date.
If you try to "x" out of it, it takes you to the App Store anyway for you to download the "Dating" app.
Maybe if the ad were on the bottom or out of the way, I may keep the app, but it's distracting, so it's deleted and now I'll move on to another free ruler app.

Paid to remove ads and there are still ads

I was tired of long and frequent ads popping up every single time I went to use it. So I paid to remove the ads. My phone got wet and I had to replace it. Now the ads are back. Apparently i need to buy the ads away again even though all of my other paid-for apps are available without another fee. Too much competition to have to put up with this. I’ll just download a different one.

Unusable free version

1. This app cannot be used on larger devices because it does not account for the change in screen size!
2. The advertising is ridiculous making it completely unusable in free mode. While in the middle of trying to measure something an request to upgrade will pop up. If you just try to get rid of it, it will take you to the App Store to purchase the upgrade.
